In-School: He is a very patient teacher and likes to take time out for each individual student when he can. He is one of those teachers that comes to school early and is one of the last faculty members to leave. Education is extremely important to him and he is very passionate about it. Particularly history. He loves teaching students about past events and helping them to utilize said knowledge in their own lives. He tends to be more involved in his students' personal lives as well. He loves having students in his room during lunch breaks and does his best to keep his after school hours open for anyone who needs them. He is one of those teachers that puts his cell number on the syllabus.  

After School: When he isn't attending school functions, grading papers, helping to run clubs, or helping students with their course work, he spends a lot of time writing to his students that he taught in South America straight out of college. He also enjoys gardening and camping. He is very good at navigating in the wilderness and would love to organize a school camping trip of some kind. He also enjoys reading and studying various forms of martial arts. 

Appearance (HS): He is tall (6'3") with an athletic build. Has very pale blond hair that goes down to his shoulders and he usually keeps in a low ponytail. He has bright blue eyes and his tan is just starting to fade from having spent two years in South America. He wears a lot of business casual clothing while at work (so button down shirts, sweatervests, well-fitting dress pants and khakis). He tends to favor blues and neutrals. 
Strengths/Weaknesses: 
Strengths: He is very dedicated to his job and to his students. He has a ridiculous amount of patience. He is gentle and friendly towards his students and other faculty. He knows how to be firm when need be, but much prefers a relaxed relationship between himself and his students. He never misses a deadline. 
Weaknesses: Work consumes his life to the point where he doesn't really have a social life. He can lose focus on what is in front of him and tends to think things through far too much before taking action.
